// about

I design it, then I build it.

Which sounds like a small thing until you've watched a design get handed to a developer and come back 20% different, with nobody quite responsible for the gap.

Hi, I'm Slobodan

I'm a freelance web designer and Webflow developer working with small studios, founders and in-house teams. I do both halves of the job: the design in Figma, then the build in Webflow. That's the whole pitch, and it's a bigger deal than it sounds.

When one person owns both, there's no handoff document to argue over, no "that spacing isn't possible", no waiting three days for someone else to interpret a file. If a layout won't survive the build, I find that out while it's still cheap to change — on the design, not on the site.

It also changed how I work with teams who build in-house. I know which decisions cost a developer an afternoon and which cost a week, so I make the cheap ones and avoid the expensive ones before the file leaves my hands. Developers notice. It's why clients come back.

How I actually run a project

Fixed scope, fixed date, written down before anything starts. A staging link you can open from day one instead of waiting for a reveal. Written updates rather than standing calls, because most updates don't need half an hour of someone's afternoon.

I keep the number of active projects deliberately low. It's the only honest way to promise a date — you can't run six projects at once and still mean it when you say Friday.

// how i think about the work

Four things I believe about websites

Opinions, not rules. If yours differ we should talk about it before we start, not in week three.

Mobile first

Mobile is the real design

The narrow layout is where the hard decisions live — what gets cut, what order things go in. Make those choices last and the layout falls apart.

The CMS

A CMS you won't use is a broken CMS

Collections should match how you publish, not how a developer finds it tidy. If updating a page needs a phone call, the build failed.

Speed

Fast beats clever

An animation nobody waits for isn't an animation. Motion should make something clearer, not prove the developer knows how.

Honesty

Say the awkward thing early

If the deadline is unrealistic or the idea won't work, week one is cheap and week four is expensive. I'd rather lose the argument than the project.

// where the work happens

Nothing glamorous. A desk and two screens.

My desk: laptop, notebook and coffee by the window
Layout sketched in pencil before anything gets designed

What clients say

Verified reviews from completed projects. Names withheld unless a client has agreed to be credited.

I've worked with a lot of freelancers and developers over the years, and he stands out by a mile. He didn't just build a website — he took the time to understand what I actually wanted, brought ideas to the table I hadn't even considered, and delivered something better than I imagined. The site looks incredible, works flawlessly, and feels like me. No ego, no drama — just a total pro who's amazing at what he does.
